For many years Ampco Flashlight supports the great organization Warchild. This organization is committed to the existence of child soldiers.
Warchild and Radio 538 came up with a great action designed to raise money.
With the amount of 12 euro's War Child can help a child in a war situation. For example; in Afghanistan, where children can't play in the streets no more, in Colombia, where children are used as soldiers in DC Congo where children try to forget the war.
As of March 25 there will be two fully equipped radio studio trucks driving through the Netherlands and broadcasts from the places they are passing by. Another part of the action is well-known Dutch people do stunts in order to collect as much money for the war children.
The stunts that the listeners can create, for the celebrities to perform, can only procede if there is enough money raised by texting to Radio 538. The incomes of these text messages will of coursce go to Warchild. Many famous Dutch people will support this particular action, such as Marco Borsato swapping jobs with weather girl Helga van Leur. Even 538-jocks Armin van Buuren, Edwin Evers, Ruud de Wild and Froukje de Both devise a stunt during "538 for War Child". In the coming weeks radio 538 will anounce the different tricks the celebrities will participate in.
