Environmental Commitment

Ampco Flashlight Group is committed to conducting all activities in a safe, responsible and environmentally conscious manner. As a leading provider of professional audio, lighting, rigging and event production services, we recognise the environmental impact associated with live events and technical operations. We therefore continuously work to reduce our ecological footprint across all divisions of our organisation.

Our key environmental principles:

• Energy efficiency
  We invest in modern, energy-efficient equipment, including LED lighting, low-consumption amplifiers, advanced power distribution, and smart control systems. We monitor our energy use and aim to reduce consumption in both warehouse operations and project execution.
• Sustainable materials and equipment lifecycle
  We prioritise durable materials, perform systematic maintenance to extend product lifespan, and choose suppliers with strong environmental credentials. Where possible, we refurbish or repurpose existing equipment to reduce waste.
• Waste reduction and recycling
  We minimise waste in our warehouses, workshops, offices and project sites. Metals, cables, batteries, lamps, electronics and packaging materials are separated and recycled according to industry standards.
• Transport optimisation
  We reduce emissions by efficient fleet planning, consolidating transports, and using modern trucks and vans with lower fuel consumption. Where feasible, we collaborate on shared logistics within the Clair Global network.
• Safe handling of hazardous materials
  Hazardous substances such as batteries, chemicals, cleaning agents and special-effect materials are stored, transported and disposed of in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
• Sustainable procurement
  We select suppliers and partners that demonstrate responsible environmental performance and promote the use of low-impact technologies.
• Employee awareness and training
  Our staff receives ongoing training on safe working practices, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility—both on site and in our facilities.
• Continuous improvement
  We regularly review our environmental objectives and performance indicators. We aim to align our environmental practices with ISO 14001 principles and the sustainability goals of the live events and AV industry.
