Many schools nowadays offer pupils more than just lessons and homework. Theatre, <\/span><\/span>m<\/span><\/span>usic, <\/span><\/span>d<\/span><\/span>ebating and film<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> The school serves many purposes, accompanied by modern technology. The Gerrit Rietveld College in Utrecht, named after the famous architect,\u00a0 also opted for this upgrade.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Easy to use<\/h2>\n

A temporary installation offered some time to design the best system, meeting modern demands including user friendly controls and low energy consumption. Existing trusses were reinstalled safely and equipped with new LED lighting fixtures, speakers and cabling. \u00a0
A smart audio control rack houses a compact digital mixer, CD\/MP3 player, wireless receivers and space for cabling and accessories. The lighting system is controllable via a console, and also through smart preset buttons in the control room. Smart cabling offers the possibility to connect a laptop to the projection system via the audio control rack.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This resulted in a system that caters to the needs of a modern school, assisting in a rich cultural life and keeping up to date with modern event technology while being easy to control by the school\u2019s teachers or the janitor.\u00a0
